The Bajorans have been trading with the Ferengi for a few years now. After being contacted by the Federation, the Bajoran government decided to apply for membership to the Federation. They were turned down, with no reason given to the Kai. After making contact with the Marquis, and being attacked by Federation vessels, the Bajorans have allied with the Marquis. The Bajorans have no contact with any other races.

The Cardassians have made contact and allied with the Romulans, Klingons and Xanthon. They have been contacted by the Ferengi, but as yet there has been no formal contact. They are currently at war with the Federation.

The Federation is a combination of many races. Most of the races the Federation has met are now part of the Federation, the only exceptions being the Ferengi (who arent interested in joining the Federation) and the Bajorans (who the Federation think are primitive). After a few hostile encounters, the Federation have lost contact with the Klingons. They are currently at war with the Cardassians, the Marquis and the Romulans.

The Ferengi have established trade with the Marquis, the Bajorans, the Klingons and the Federation. They have supplied the Klingons with information about the Federation, they are supplying the Bajorans and the Marquis with weapons, and they are allied with the Federation. They are very interested in establishing an alliance with the Cardassians.

This small religious nation was originally part of the Federation. However, after the Federation started to ignore her, the leader of the Keltic Nation decided it was time to break off from the Federation. The Keltic Nation is currently undergoing talks with the Romulans.

The Kernian race is an insectoid race. Despite the race's Hive mind mentality they are capable of excercising free will. The leader of the race, the M'Hael, is the Over-Queen of the hive, there are other Queens who rule over smaller populations, but all are subject to the M'hael.

The Klendathi are a highly intelligent race of peaceful humanoids. They have just discovered warp travel and are now starting to explore the galaxy.

The Klingons have been in contact with the Romulans for many years. However, recently the Romulans have attacked a number of Klingon outposts, causing what is shaping up to be a bitter war. After recieving information from the Ferengi about a war fleet planning to invade their space, they have begun to attack Federation ships. Now that they have learned that the Federation were not intending to invade, the Ferengi might have some problems. The Klingons have made peace with the Cardassians, whom they are hoping will help them in their battle against the Romulans.

The Marquis originated as a small terrorist group on Earth. For nearly 30 years, they have terrorised the Federation, stealing their ships, raiding their colonies and trying to cause tension between the various Federation races. Recently they have recieved some assistance from the Bajorans. As they are mostly concerned with attacking the Federation, they have not made contact with any other races.

The Romulans began exploring space quite some time ago. Since they started, they have met both the Klingons and the Cardassians. They currently have an alliance with the Cardassians and are at war with the Klingons and the Federation. They have recently re-established contact with there cousins, the Vulcans.

The Terran Coterie came into existence for one purpose and one purpose only, to stop the Marquis at all costs. To achieve this goal, the TC have recently signed a trade agreement with the Ferengi, due to this arrangement, the TC now has access to the same equipment and weapons the rest of the races do. The Terran Coterie have had relations with no other race, but are avoiding the Bajoran's due to their involvement with the Marquis.

After they left the Romulans many years ago, the Vulcans have not had much contact with other races. Recently the Romulans have begun talks with them.
